Processing a Return

Returning Orders

For all items that are fulfilled by Amazon, you will need to contact Amazon directly to make changes using the Amazon Order ID that the Buyer provides for your order (that includes if your item has arrived either damaged, or the incorrect item was sent).

To find your Amazon Order ID, simply go to the order page of the item you’re seeking to return:


Once you have the Order ID, submit your request for the return here, and input your Order ID.

If your gift return is authorized, Amazon or the Amazon Merchant will process your refund as an Gift Card. The Gift Card will be added to the account you used to generate your return from the Online Returns Center. Once the refund is processed, Amazon will send you a confirmation e-mail. Please keep a copy of the return label generated by Amazon. If there are any further issues, having this return label will help us resolve your issue quicker.

If you’re an Earner processing the refund, the refund will be processed to the original payment method used to complete the purchase. (All Amazon refunds are subject to Amazon’s refund policies outlined at About Refunds.)

Return Exceptions:

If Amazon cannot refund a Shopper due to an on-going issue with the Earner’s account (suspended for potential fraud, etc), Purse will debit the Earner’s account in order to refund the Shopper if the Earner cannot resolve their account issues with Amazon.

Purse Merchant Returns:

Returns for Purse Merchants are handled on an individual basis between the Shopper and the Purse Merchant. Merchants can have their own unique return policies; if you are buying an item direct from a Purse Merchant and want to ensure you can return it if defective, please ask prior to completing your purchase. Purse is not responsible for returns from Purse Merchants, you are however protected by Purse’s secure escrow until delivery of your purchase if it does not arrive in the condition as advertised.
